New Bluesphere Waste-to-Energy Plant Underway in Charlotte

Global energy company Bluesphere Corp. broke ground Monday on a new U.S. headquarters and a waste-to-energy plant in Charlotte.
Bluesphere is based in Israel and has an office in Charlotte, on McCullough Drive, according to spokeswoman Janet Vasquez. The company has seven employees in Charlotte, with plans to add five more once the new plant and headquarters open late this year or early next year, she said.
