The National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) released an updated issue brief on the continued changing markets for recycling. Since 2017, NWRA has regularly updated its issue brief to reflect China’s changing policies toward imported recyclables and the impact of those policies on the waste and recycling industry.

“As the recycling market continues to change, it is important we continue to offer guidance to our members and interested parties,” said NWRA President and CEO Darrell Smith. “This issue brief provides an update with the latest information about recycling policies impacting the industry and recommended actions recyclers can take in light of these changes.”
