Organizations Partner to Strengthen U.K. Recycling Targets

WRAP and On-Pack Recycling Label have announced their partnership to meet recycling goals in the U.K.

WRAP and On-Pack Recycling Label (OPRL) announced they have entered into a strategic partnership that sets out how the two organizations will work together toward meeting the U.K.’s recycling targets.

According to a Waste Management World report, WRAP explained that in order to achieve packaging recycling targets of 70 percent by 2030 and 70 percent of plastic packaging by 2025, the partnership will focus on providing consistent messaging on-pack to reduce confusion among consumers in the U.K. about what can and can’t be recycled. It will also aim to improve the quality and quantity of household recycling in the U.K.

WRAP and OPRL (On-Pack Recycling Label) have entered into a strategic partnership which sets out how the two organisations will work together towards meeting the UK’s recycling targets.

OPRL Ltd is a not for profit company which operates the UK-wide On-Pack Recycling Label scheme used by hundreds of brands owned by over 330 members.
