VAN DYK Recycling Solutions Adds Enrico Siewert as Director of Business Development – Plastics

Van Dyk Recycling Solutions welcomes Enrico Siewert in the role of Director of Business Development – Plastics. An experienced executive specializing in recycling systems, Siewert brings a strong background in developing innovative processes and new lines of revenue to the recycling industry.

With 20 years’ experience in the plastics industry, which saw him on both the sales side and the operational side of plastics recovery facilities, Siewert has the perspective needed to develop cutting-edge recycling processes. He was instrumental in building some of the first large scale PRFs in North America and is dedicated to developing domestic processing solutions for plastics.

In his latest role, Siewert served as the Global Head of Plastic Processing at MURA Technology, where he aligned sustainability goals with strategic growth and advanced recycling technologies, while focusing on environmentally friendly practices and circular economy principles. His move to Van Dyk Recycling Solutions stems from a desire to improve plastics circularity in North America.

“Van Dyk has been at the forefront of several advancements in the recycling industry, from introducing single-ram balers, to adopting single stream processing and optical sortation,” says Siewert. “They are expert plant builders with the tools to establish successful strategies in new markets.”

Van Dyk has experience in the PRF world, supplying both equipment and complete systems, with involvement in 41 PRF projects. Siewert will help expand Van Dyk’s footprint in that market space.
