Philadelphia-based RecycleBank has received a $2 million investment from the Coca-Cola Co. that will help expand the program nationwide. “We believe this program will revolutionize the way consumers view their trash, from disposables to valuable reusables,” said Scott Vitters, director of sustainable packaging for Coca-Cola, in a press release.

RecycleBank financially rewards households and communities for the amounts they recycle by issuing RecycleBank points that can be used at local and national rewards partners.
