Video Shows Bear Wreaking Havoc on Tampa, FL. Garbage Bins

A black bear has been using the holiday weekend to wreak havoc on Tampa, Fla. garbage cans.

Residents of Hillsborough County first spotted the bear early Saturday morning by deputies and now, a home video has caught the animal rummaging through garbage cans. A home surveillance video shows the bear tipping garbage cans and poking its nose through the debris, leaving discarded scraps in the area.

The bear has been spotted several times in the area, which Florida Fish and Wildlife officials say is not uncommon for this time of year.

Officials are stressing residents to not approach the bear and keep a safe distance. Unfortunately, trash bins may not be so lucky as the bear continues to roam the streets.
