WM has begun construction on a new recycling facility that will serve the City of Fort Worth and North Texas.

The new facility will be the first located within the City of Fort Worth and will collect multiple types of plastic for recycling as well as utilizing intelligent sorting technologies and feature an optical sorting line. The facility will have the capacity to process 144,000 tons of recyclable material annually.

The ~110,000 square foot facility is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.
