Trash Collected by Baltimore Inner Harbor Water Wheel Could be Burned for Energy

Baltimore City could soon begin generating small amounts of energy from the trash scooped up by the Inner Harbor water wheel.

The city's Board of Estimates will vote Wednesday on whether to fund removing and disposing trash collected by the water wheel, a charge the Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore Inc. has been covering since the wheel was installed last May.
