Ag-Bag, American Ecology Report Q1 Increases

Warrenton, Ore. -- Ag-Bag International Ltd. has reported net sales for the quarter ended March 31, 2002, of $4.81 million, compared with net sales of $4.15 million for the same quarter last year, and a net loss of $251,428 for the quarter, compared with a net loss of $367,409 for the same quarter last year.

Boise, Idaho -- American Ecology Corp. has reported net income of $2.8 million for the first quarter of 2002, compared with net income of $1.5 million for the same quarter last year; operating income of $3.5 million, compared with operating income of $1.3 million for the same quarter last year; and revenues of $18.4 million, compared with revenues of $12.9 million for the same quarter last year.
