Essex, England recycling centers' employees have spoken out about the constant abuse they endure while on the job.

The Essex County Council has said that one employee had been told to “watch yourself when you leave work” at one of its sites. In response, a video has been shared where a staff member details being very depressed and angry due to the onslaught of abuse. Peter Schwier, the Essex County Council climate czar, said staff have been offered body cameras to capture the abuse.

Louis Stanley, manager of a site, said reports of abuse are being logged daily.

"We don't want these incidents, and we just wanted to highlight it because it's slightly increased."
