Arizona Advances on Recycled Printing Material

Phoenix -- The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) has announced that the state’s 27 printing companies printed newspapers containing an average of 67 percent recycled material in 2001, an increase from the 55 percent reported in 2000 and more than double the national average of 28 percent for 2000, according to the ADEQ.
