Cummins Announces Q1 Loss

Columbus, Ind. -- Cummins Inc. has reported first quarter 2002 net loss of $29 million after taxes, compared with a net loss of $26 million for the same quarter last year. The company also has reported sales of $1.33 billion, compared with sales of $1.35 billion for the same quarter last year.
