Energy Secretary Admits Yucca is not Big Enough

Washington, D.C. -- U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Secretary Spencer Abraham acknowledged in a hearing yesterday that the proposed Yucca, Nev., site — which is expected to accept about 77,000 tons of radioactive waste beginning in 2010 — will be too small and may have to be expanded.
