EPA, Others Announce Brownfields Call for Presentations

Washington, D.C. -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Pittsburgh-based Engineer's Society of Western Pennsylvania (ESWP), the Washington, D.C.-based International City/County Management Association (ICMA), and several governmental and non-governmental organizations have announced a call for presentations for the seventh annual Brownfields Conference to be held Nov. 13-15, 2002, in Charlotte, N.C.

Panel discussions will cover legal liability; new state, local and tribal programs; financing; insurance; community involvement; land conservation; remediation research and technology; real estate transactions; and new industrial, residential and commercial development.
