First Autocar Xpeditor Hits the Road

Union City, Ind. -- Autocar LLC rolled out its first Xpeditor low-cab-over-engine (LCOE) truck on Jan. 25, 2002. The company was formed in July 2001 when parent company Grand Vehicle Works Holdings LLC, Highland Park, Ill., purchased the Autocar name and Xpeditor truck line from Greensboro, N.C.-based Volvo Trucks North America (VTNA) Inc.
