Washington, D.C. -- The Energy Information Administration (EIA) has released its annual report, "Emissions of Greenhouse Gases in the United States, 2000." This is the ninth report, required by law, and presents the EIA's latest estimate of carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide and other greenhouse gas emissions. To view the report, visit
