Haulers, Truckmakers Report Third Quarter Fiscal Results

Westport, Conn. -- Terex Corp. has reported third quarter net income before restructuring charges of $9 million, compared with net income of $17.5 million for the same quarter last year. Restructuring charges in the third quarter totaled $19.9 million and included the consolidation of 11 facilities.

Stockholm, Sweden -- Volvo has reported a $144 million third quarter loss, or 1.54 billion kronor, compared with net income of 369 million kronor for the same quarter last year. Sales increased to $3.87 billion, or 41.1 billion kronor, compared with 27.9 billion kronor for the same quarter last year.

Warrenton, Ore. -- Ag-Bag International Ltd. has reported net income of $385,478 for the third quarter of 2001, compared with net income of $511,192 for the same quarter last year. Net sales for the third quarter totaled $10.15 million, compared with net sales of $10.70 million for the same quarter last year.
