OSHA Calls for Grant Proposals

Washington, D.C. -- The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has announced that proposals are being accepted for approximately $6.6 million in Susan Harwood grants for safety and health training.

The categories under which grants will be given include targeted topic grants, which will support training in the recognition and prevention of ergonomic hazards; and institutional competency building grants, which will help nonprofit associations expand their safety and health training programs.
