The excavator weighs approximately 63,100 pounds and is powered by a six-cylinder, 188-horsepower (hp) turbocharged and air-to-air aftercooled diesel Cat 3126B engine, featuring electronic control and the Cat HEUI fuel system. The 325C L uses an open-center, two-pump, negative flow hydraulic system; has an 0.88-cubic-yard to 2.50-cubic-yard capacity; 23-foot, 3-inch maximum digging depth; 34-foot, 6-inch maximum reach at ground level; and 23-foot, 4-inch maximum loading height.

The system constantly checks and maintains tire pressure at pre-set levels. PressureGuard uses a leak-free inner tube to seal the connection point between the stationary axle and rotating wheel-end for safety, according to the company. The one-piece regulator contains an integral filter and automatic drain valve housed in a 6-inch by 3-inch box that attaches to the frame rail or slider box. Features include a removable hubcap-venting plug to add lubricant, compatibility with trailers and solid ribs to protect tire hoses outside the hubcap, the company says.

The pump can be installed both vertically and horizontally. The PLC can be programmed for run time, liquid level, stroke count, system pressure and flow rate parameters, the company says.
