Terex, Waste Connections Report Q1 Earnings Increases

Westport, Conn. -- Terex Corp. has announced 2002 first quarter net income of $16.9 million, compared with net income of $10.1 million for the same quarter last year, and net sales for the quarter of $582 million, compared with net sales of $477.4 million for the same quarter last year.

Folsom, Calif. -- Waste Connections Inc. has reported 2002 first quarter revenue of $105.7 million, compared with revenue of $85.1 million for the same quarter last year, and operating income of $29.1 million, compared with operating income of $23.2 million for the same quarter last year.
