Trucking Industry Rolls Out Anti-Terrorism Action Plan

Alexandria, Va. -- The American trucking industry has initiatied its Anti-Terrorism Action Plan (ATAP) as an expansion to the American Trucking Associations' (ATA) Highway Watch program to keep highways safe. Under the plan, an estimated 3 million professional truck drivers will be trained to spot and report suspicious activities that may have terrorism or national security implications.
