The Town of Windsor is offering an exciting opportunity to participate in an entrepreneurial public enterprise. The Windsor landfill is a 2 mil. per year regional operation. The landfill is projected to reach permitted capacity in 2005. The Town is in the planning process for subsequent reuse of the landfill and several solid waste uses are being considered. The Town is also planning for its future solid waste disposal needs. The SW Manager will perform managerial and prof. work in directing, administering, and coordinating the operations of the SW Mgmt division. BS degree with a min. of 5 years admin.experience in landfill operation, solid waste handling or related field required. Starting Salary: $40K- $71K DOQ, with growth potential to $88K. Great benefits plus performance increase in 6 months.
