Advanced Disposal Wins Smyrna, Ga., Commercial Disposal Contract

Smyrna, Ga., has awarded its commercial waste disposal contract to Jacksonville, Fla.-based Advanced Disposal Services. Advanced will offer commercial customers recycling services as well.

The firm also will make a $300,000 capital investment into a transfer station in Smyrna that it recently acquired. “Advanced Disposal looks forward to becoming a significant, visible partner in Smyrna, Cobb County, and surrounding communities,” said Mary O’Brien, Advanced Disposal’s chief marketing officer, in a press release.
