Rodale Creates Compost Quality Assurance Program

New York -- Rodale Inc. has introduced its Organic Gardening Seal of Approval program for compost. Maine-based Woods End Laboratories is conducting all testing for the program.

The program was set up in response to recent incidents in Washington state and California of accidental compost contamination with chemicals such as clopyralid, which kills certain plants.
