Midway City Sanitary District (MCSD) has opened a new compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling facility in Westminster, Calif., the waste management agency announced.
The $3 million station, which is located at 14451 Cedarwood Ave., will supply CNG to MCSD's refuse truck fleet. MCSD provides curbside solid waste collection and recycling in Westminster and Midway City.
The onsite facility incorporates CNG fuel dispensing systems capable of simultaneously time-fueling of 15 trucks and a fast-fill station, according to MCSD.
