City of Rapid City, S.D. Holds Contest to Name Garbage Trucks

Nine of Rapid City, S.D.'s sanitation vehicles are currently nameless, and the solid waste district is looking to the public to help name them.
The winners will receive a trip to the Rapid City Landfill to affix nameplates to their winning truck. Submissions will be accepted through April 4. The winning names will be released during National Public Works Week of May 16-22.
