Garbage Truck Takes Out Two Power Line Poles in Delaware

The accident caused power outages for 1,300 residents.

On Monday morning, a garbage truck struck two power lines on Sharpley Road in Wilmington, Del., causing power outages for 1,300 residents. Most residents’ power turned back on around noon, but approximately 200 households remained without power late into the day.

NBC10 has more information:

A trash truck took out two power line poles in northern Delaware, causing power outages for more than 1,000 people in New Castle County.
