Greenville, N.C., Outfits Recycling Trucks with Student Artwork to Promote Recycling

In Greenville, N.C., recycling trucks are being decorated with student artwork thanks to the Greenville Public Works 3rd annual Keep the Green in Greenville poster contest.

For the challenge, students in grades K-12 were challenged to create promotional posters encouraging people to recycle, compost and purchase recycled materials. The posers were judged by a panel and four winners were selected.

Starting this week you may notice a new addition to Greenville recycling trucks.

That's because the winners of the Greenville Public Works 3rd annual "Keep the Green in Greenville," poster contest have been announced.
