iGlobal LLC’s ELD Meets FMCSA Mandate Requirements
A software and hardware provider to the transportation industry receives an important certification.
iGlobal LLC, a software and hardware provider to the transportation industry, has received electronic logging device (ELD) certification from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).
“I am happy to share we are fully compliant with the FMCSA ELD Mandate” Eric Bauer, president of iGlobal LLC, said in a statement. “Many fleets we speak to tell us that self-certification from an ELD provider is no guarantee that the FMCSA won’t de-certify them later, leaving the carrier to try to replace them in just eight days, per the mandate’s specification” said Bauer. “The iGlobal LLC team has worked extremely hard to make sure that every aspect of the requirement was completed per specifications. After our own internal certification process we asked Annette Sandberg from TransSafe Consulting LLC to perform a 2nd review.”
Annette Sandberg, who led the FMCSA during the George W. Bush administration from 2003 – 2006, passed every part of the testing procedures published by the FMCSA. “I have reviewed and tested iGlobal LLC’s ELD products and they meet the FMCSA requirements for the mandate,” Sandberg said in a statement “The iGlobal LLC team was very well organized and I was impressed by their professionalism and attention to detail.”
iGlobal LLC offers its EDGE MDT, an in-cab computer and document imaging system that ties dispatch communication, ECM data reporting and GPS positioning with a rugged scanner for instant bill of lading and delivery receipt transmittal from the cab to the office for manifest creation, instant invoicing, accurate driver settlements, and document retrieval all while eliminating the need for paper.
