Waste Management Adds CNG Trucks to Pennsylvania Fleet

It's a lesson any third-grader could probably explain: If it looks like a dump and smells like a dump, it's probably a dump.

But Waste Management's Grand Central Hauling Co. wants to debunk the myth that landfills are just trash.

The Pen Argyl branch in Plainfield Township on Thursday unveiled its new fleet of 30 compressed natural gas-powered (CNG) collection trucks.

Grand Central also demonstrated its first on-site public CNG fueling station. It's open 24 hours and available to anyone with a swipe card and a CNG-powered engine.
