CEOs from leading publicly-traded waste management companies Advanced Disposal, Waste Connections, Progressive Waste Solutions and Waste Management will give their perspective on the trends, technologies and challenges in the recycling and disposal of solid, industrial and exploration and production energy waste on a keynote panel at the 2015 WasteExpo.

WasteExpo is returning to Las Vegas June 1-4, 2015 and will take place at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The event offers a robust conference program with nine tracks and 60 sessions, an Exhibit Hall with more than 560 exhibitors exhibiting the latest equipment and technology as well as two co-located events—the WasteExpo Investor Summit and The Healthcare Waste Conference.

"We are very excited to provide a forum for the waste industry to come together and discuss the most important issues facing our waste and recycling professionals today.  We're also delighted to be expecting a record number of exhibitors and attendees to the event," said Mark Hickey, Vice President, Penton's Waste360, which also produces Waste360.com, The Global Waste Management Symposium and the Waste360 Recycling Summit. "Our distinguished keynote panel is a 'must-attend' session that will offer their perspective on the current and future landscape of the industry to help attendees grow their businesses and make their departments more efficient."

The hour-long "The Heavy Hitters" keynote panel will take place Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. and Michael E. Hoffman, Managing Director, Stifel, a financial services holding company, will moderate. The CEO panelists include:

  • Richard Burke, Chief Executive Officer, Advanced Disposal

  • Ronald J. Mittelstaedt, Chief Executive Officer, Waste Connections, Inc.

  • Joseph D. Quarin, President and Chief Executive Officer, Progressive Waste Solutions Ltd.

  • David P. Steiner, President and Chief Executive Officer, Waste Management, Inc.
