Ericsson and DeltaTrak's Collaboration to Reduce Food Waste

Ericsson’s Internet of Things business and DeltaTrak, have announced a collaboration through Deutsche Telekom that will help to track perishable foods. The combination of their technology will allow for more precise tracking of the dates on which foods will go bad by using indicational data. Using this technology will help to drastically reduce food waste. Once the project proves efficient the companies hope to roll the tech out globally across the cold chain.
