Redmond-based WISErg has been talking about plans to expand beyond a small test market in the Puget Sound area for years, but now the company says that day is finally here.
WISErg, which has built a machine that turns food waste into liquid fertilizer, announced Tuesday it has raised $11 million from Seattle-based Second Avenue Partners. That brings its total financing to $14 million.
