Lancaster, Pa. Chefs Share Food Waste Tips

Chefs from Lancaster, Pa. recently shared their food waste tips for a local publication.

Owner Rachel Adams of Rachel’s Cafe and Creperie says that extras can always be used for other purposes, such as making milk into ice cream and vegetable ends into stock.

Robin Ortman, Hinkle’s Restaurant owner, uses extra milk in gravys and for pudding.
