Scottsdale, Ariz. -- Allied Waste Industries Inc. president and chief operating officer Larry Henk has resigned. Tom Van Weelden, chairman and CEO of the company, will assume all duties and responsiblities of president, while Don Slager, vice president of operations, will chief operating officer responsibilities.
