If you think you have accidentally thrown something away, don't go digging for it yourself — or you may end up taking an unscheduled vacation to the landfill. That's the lesson a Mississippi woman learned this summer. While she was searching for a lost set of keys one morning in a trash container behind her apartment complex, a garbage truck came to service the account and unloaded the woman into the truck along with the trash. The unusual haul went unnoticed for several miles before passersby heard screams coming from the garbage and alerted the driver to the woman's presence. After climbing out, the Mississippian complained of joint pain and was taken to a local hospital and released. She did not say whether she found her keys, but it's likely she had other things on her mind.
