Stefan Bukojemsky has been appointed senior project manager in the Pacific region for EMCON/OWT Solid Waste Services, Mahwah, N.J. Bukojemsky, who will work in the Portland, Ore. office, will become part of the company's solid waste facilities engineering group. He will provide design and construction services for transfer stations, household hazardous waste facilities and material recovery facilities (MRFs) in the Pacific.

Bukojemsky has spent 30 years in design and planning, and has designed and built transfer stations, compost facilities and MRFs. He has a Ph.D. in architecture from the University of Rome, Italy, and a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from the University of Toronto, Canada.
