Paul L. Busch, president and CEO of the environmental engineering firm Malcolm Pirnie Inc., White Plains, N.Y., died July 27.
After graduating from the Massachussetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Harvard University, Busch joined Malcolm Pirnie in 1961. He became president of the firm in 1988 and CEO in 1990.
Busch was a registered Professional Engineer in 15 states, as well as a diplomat and past president of the American Academy of Environmental Engineers (AAEE), Annapolis, Md. He was elected to the National Academy of Engineering, Washington, D.C., and received the AAEE's Gordon Maskew Fair Award for his contributions to the world's environment.
