Bush Nominates New EPA Assistant Administrator

Washington – President Bush has announced he is nominating Susan P. Bodine for the position of assistant administrator for the Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Solid Waste and Emergency Response. She would replace acting Assistant Adminstrator Thomas Dunne, who has served the past year.

Bodine currently serves as staff director and senior counsel for the Water Resources and Environmental Subcommittee of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure. She previously served in private practice at a Washington firm.
