Canadian Pulp Company Achieves EcoLogo Certification

Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada -- NorskeCanada's sawdust-based pulp manufactured at the company's Elk Falls Division has received certification as an environmentally preferable product under Environment Canada's Environmental Choice Program (ECP), which allows the company to use the ECP EcoLogo.

Elk pulp is used to manufacture tissue paper, paper towels, fine papers for printing and writing applications, and specialty papers. Approximatley 85 percent of the fiber in Elk pulp is residual fiber, recovered from the sawmilling process.
