Welcome, welcome. Is everyone seated and ready to begin? Good. Because Jeff Fielkow, executive vice president of revenue and growth for ReCommunity Recycling, has a low tolerance for tardiness. However, assuming he ever gets his chosen superpower, you’ll at least avoid having to let him know you’re going to be late.

Read on to learn more about Fielkow in our informal Q&A.

What is your pet peeve?

Being late for a meeting or running a meeting over the scheduled time. Nothing is more disrespectful than waiting for a latecomer to show up for a meeting. So if you’re going to be late, even by a minute, please let the organizer know!

What is the best advice you’ve ever received?

“Find your passion and love what you do. Create your own definition of success and set priorities to achieve it.”

What was the last book you read?

“Wool” by Hugh Howey. The book is a fascinating science fiction story. The story about the success of the author is also fascinating and it’s not science fiction!

What is your favorite movie?

Can’t really say I have an absolute favorite movie, but “Pulp Fiction” is one of those movies you can watch over and over and still enjoy it.

What is your favorite TV show?

CNBC’s “Squawk Box” is a daily must (although I mostly listen to the show via XM satellite radio).

Beatles or Rolling Stones?

Rolling Stones.

Do you prefer the beach or mountains?

Mountains.

Besides your family, what is the one thing you couldn’t live without?

My iPhone.

What is your favorite sports team?

Packers or anybody playing the Bears.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be?

To be able to predict the future.

What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve done?

I used to fly airplanes. Given the fact I’m not that great reading maps, the activity became a bit too adventurous.
