Denny Gill Named President of Stoutco/Ameri-Kan

Denny Gill has been named president of Stoutco and its Ameri-Kan division. Gill joined the commercial and industrial waste container manufacturer's sales department in 1966 and has served in several positions, most recently as vice president and general manager.

In 1993, Gill received distinguished service awards from the Environmental Industry Association's (EIA) Waste Equipment Technology Association (WASTEC) and the National Solid Wastes Management Association (NSWMA), both based in Washington, D.C. He was inducted into the EIA's Hall of Fame in 1998 in recognition of his leadership in developing safety and compatibility standards for the industry.

In addition to a seat on the company's board of directors, Gill holds the voting seat for the EIA's Commercial Container Committee of the American National Standards Institute's (ANSI)-Z245 accredited committee. He also is chairman of the Z245 Sub-committee 3 on container safety and Sub-committee 6 on container compatibility.
