Orlando, Fla. -- New Horizons Technologies International has announced it will introduce the Cyclone recyclable and rechargeable handset next week at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

The handset includes a disposable cell phone that can make and receive phone calls for $39.95 per month, which includes 60 minutes of nationwide airtime. After the 60 minutes are used, consumers can buy more airtime or return the phone to the company for recycling and receive a $5 rebate.

Phones initially will be offered through wireless services resellers nationwide, and the company plans to make them more accessible early this year. The phones primarily are suitable for consumers who cannot afford the monthly rates of most carriers, and also for environmentally friendly users who want to recycle their phones when their minutes are used.
