Budapest, hungary, is launching a million-dollar campaign to rid the city of waste — dog waste, that is. City officials estimate that Budapest's 400,000 dogs produce 14,600 tonnes of dog waste each year. To combat the problem, the city is launching a public awareness campaign that will include television advertisements, sidewalk-cleaning machines and hundreds of dog-waste disposal bins on public streets.
