Sensitive populations include those with children, elderly and chronically ill, who are more susceptible to the effects of diesel exhaust. Funds are available to state, local, multi-state and tribal agencies, and nonprofit organizations involved with transportation air quality issues. For details, visit: http://www.epa.gov/otaq/rfp.htm.
