Washington, D.C. — The U.S. Senate confirmed the nomination of Linda J. Fisher as Deputy Administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on Thursday, May 24. Fisher will be the top managerial and policy assistant to EPA Administrator Christine Todd Whitman.
