Grissom named CFO for Waste Holdings, Compaction America Promotes Perisho

Compaction America Inc., Kewanee, Ill., has named Rex A. Perisho senior vice president of marketing and sales.
Volvo Trucks North America Inc., Greensboro, N.C., has named Susan Alt vice president of marketing, Gene Parker vice president of sales for the Southeast region, David Plaster vice president of sales for the Northeast region and Keith Brandis head of product planning initiatives for the company's global planning organization and its Volvo Trucks division.

D. Stephen Grissom has been named chief financial officer (CFO) and vice president of finance for Waste Holdings Inc., Raleigh, N.C.
Grissom has 24 years of controllership and CFO experience, most recently as CFO for Austin Quality Foods, which was purchased by Keebler Foods, Battle Creek, Mich., in March 2000.
He is a certified public accountant (CPA) and currently is an executive committee member of Junior Achievement of Eastern North Carolina. Additionally, Grissom is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the North Carolina Association of CPAs.
Grissom holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from North Carolina State University, Raleigh. He lives with his wife, Vicky, and their four children in Raleigh.
