Ever wonder about Tom Cruise's beauty regimen or what Halle Berry buys her pet cat? Frenchmen Pascal Rostain and Bruno Mouron are happy to unveil the secrets. Since mid- June, the pair have been selling framed masterpieces of celebrity garbage — everything from discarded fan mail to John Travolta's pizza box — for $6,000 a piece.
Rostain and Mouron have said they don't consider their work art but rather a study on consumerism. “This is a real portrait of our society,” Rostain told The Washington Post. The temporary Soho exhibit was scheduled to close in mid-July. Somehow, framing even celebrity garbage doesn't seem that chic.
