Hicks Elected Clement President Clunie Named R.W. Beck Chairman

Boston-based R.W. Beck has appointed Jeffrey F. Clunie as chairman of the board. Clunie has served as acting chairman since March 2000.
Mike Collier, former senior vice president of Waste Management Inc. (WMI), Bensalem, Pa., died on Nov. 30. Prior to serving as a WMI vice president, Collier was the company's chief operating officer, directing business in international markets.
American Baler Co., Bellevue, Ohio, has hired Randy Rohm as operations manager.
Norm Aardema has been elected chairman of the Washington, D.C.-based Environmental Industry Associations (EIA) board.
Jim Ashton, a partner from the consulting firm Grisanti, Galif & Goldress, will take on chief executive officer duties at Miami-based Hi-Rise Recycling Systems Inc.
David B. Robinson has been named Recycling Coordinator for the city of Philadelphia.

Gregory Hicks has been elected to succeed his father, W. Glen Hicks, as president and chief operating officer of Clement Industries Inc., a construction trailer manufacturer based in Minden, La.
With degrees in industrial engineering and business/economics from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, Pa., Gregory Hicks joined Clement in 1979, as director of operations.
He was named general manager in charge of manufacturing in 1984.
Under Gregory Hicks' guidance, Clement has increased significantly both its manufacturing capability and its dump trailer sales volume.
Former company President W. Glen Hicks will remain at Clement as chairman of the board and chief executive officer.
