IESI Acquires Oklahoma Haulers

Haltom City, Texas — IESI Corp. has acquired Total Waste Systems Inc. (TWS) and Centerpoint Disposal Inc., both based in Norman, Okla. The acquisition includes three hauling operations in Bristow, El Reno and Hobart, Okla.; a transfer station in Bristow; five transfer station operating contracts in Eakly, Hobart, Walters, Watonga and Waurika; a municipal solid waste (MSW) landfill near Prague; and a construction and demolition (C&D) landfill in Frederick.
